Al Qadi Farmhouse

The dramatic site of this country house overlooking the Jordan valley strongly influenced the design concept. A linear form following the shape of the contour lines is adopted which allowed for all the rooms to overlook the view. The use of recycled local stone alongside plastered and painted walls created a dialogue between the front elevation facing the village side and the back elevation facing the valley with its large glass facades.
