Amman Baccalaureate School - IB Diploma College

A simple rectilinear form and an interesting flow of interior space are the basic elements of this project designed with emphasis on creating a stimulating learning environment for students of the IB Diploma College.

Motorized vertical louvers distinguish the design of the elevation, providing protection from the hot summer sun while allowing sunlight in during the winter.

The IB Diploma College was the first project in Jordan awarded the LEED Platinum certification for sustainable buildings. Indeed, it is the first LEED Platinum school building in the entire MENA region, and only the fourth Platinum certified school building outside the US.
